Created by Biomedical Informatics Department, East China Normal University, Shanghai. Search by prescription, herb, ingredient, disease, drug, or target. This database takes a long time to load, but be patient, it will eventually. It is the only TCM database in English we have been able to find.

Since pharmacognosy, the discovery of new medicines from nature, has long been a discipline within the field of pharmacy this database of the international pharmacy literature is an important resource. Available at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy libraries.
This is a small index covering the literature of complementary and alternative medicine. The titles indexed include newsletters and many popular magazines. If you are searching for scholarly material be sure to limit your search by checking the scholarly journals check box and/or limit to academic journals.
The Chemical Abstracts online database. An excellent resource for mechanism of action, analytical chemistry.
