About our 35mm slide collection
Our 35mm slide collection has always been considered a teaching collection for faculty of the Graduate School of Design. It is comprised of purchases from vendors, donations from designers, faculty, and students, copyphotography from publications, and reformatting of previous teaching collection formats -- photographs and glass lantern slides. To meet the demands of changing technologies and methods of teaching, the a percentage of the collection has been digitized.
How to access 35mm slides
Our 35mm slide collection is stored off-site. Requests for slides can take between 2-3 business days to arrive to the library. Slides can be found in HOLLIS Images. If interested in viewing slides, please login to HOLLIS Special Request to complete a request form. Enter enough information in form to comprehensively describe the slides you wish to see.
