Citation Management Tools and Using Sources
Organizing citations and getting them into a journal format can be made much easier by using a citation management tool. There are several choices, and there is a comparison chart on the Research Management and Citation Tools at Harvard page. It provides help with getting started with Zotero and EndNote citation tools, and also lists upcoming classes and workshops.
Zotero is free, and available to all, whether you continue your studies at Harvard or not. There is a Zotero guide that will help you with the installation process, but feel free to contact us for help.
If you need help with the writing process, schedule a tutorial meeting in-person or online with the Harvard Extension Writing Center. The Harvard College Writing Center offers a variety of help, including Strategies for Essay Writing and the Harvard Guide to Using Sources. Finally, Tips to Avoid Plagiarism, from the Extension School, provides a variety of helpful resources.
