Google Scholar: Find Scholarly Articles
George recommends using Google Scholar to search for scholarly articles. First, log in. Then, make a one-time connection of your Google Scholar to Harvard Library.
Google Scholar is a great way to search for a very broad range of scholarly material, much like HOLLIS, but ranked according to a relevance algorithm. Here is what the text looks like for one Google Scholar search for articles on adoption of EV’s, followed by a screenshot of the first search results: https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C22&inst=6453797383205921872&q=adoption+laggards+%22electric+vehicles%22&btnG=

Note in the screenshot that Google Scholar includes "Cited by" counts of how many times the article has been referred to by other articles. When you search in Google Scholar, click on these to see the cititng articles. This helps trace an article's impact since it was first published.
