Records of grants for work among the Indians, 1720-1812 Samuel Kirkland's diary entries describe the food scarcity and consequent famine that were widespread in 1789 and 1790 among the Oneida and surrounding tribes.

Papers of Henry Ware, Sr., 1783-1842 The financial journal, 1797-1804, includes a small number of food recipes.

Recipe file, ca. 1920, kept by Marietta McPherson, first wife of Harvard Dean Chester N. Greenough.
