Welcome to the Eda Kuhn Loeb Music Library at Harvard University! This guide is intended to be a starting point for research in American Music at our library (primarily for Professor Carol Oja's graduate students):

Research Llibrarians provide research assistance for seminar work and theses/dissertations: help finding sources or doing a literature search, in-depth consultations, and tutorials on using online resources.

  • Quick look-up and basic HOLLIS+ searching: ask at the circulation desk
  • In-depth consultations: ask reference librarian Kerry Masteller. My desk is in the Aldrich Reading Room - drop in or make an appointment, email, or call 617-998-5309
  • Tutorials on E-Research@Harvard (finding electronic resources at Harvard Libraries, music and interdisciplinary)
