Searching in HOLLIS

Use HOLLIS to search every item in the Rare Book Collection. To learn how to search HOLLIS, visit the HOLLIS User Guide.

In HOLLIS, use the Advanced Search option to limit your search to "Library Catalog" and set the scope to Frances Loeb Library. Once you've completed this step, you can narrow your search using the Search Filters option. Select "Code: Library + Collection"  as the filter in the first drop-down menu.

Use the following search terms to narrow down the results further:
  • DESRARE to find Rare Books and Periodicals
  • DESRAROV to find Rare Oversize Books
  • DESRAREF to find Rare Folios
  • DESTHESIS to find GSD Theses

 

For specific collections, use the following search terms:
