Hodie lux orta. Submersus iacet Pharao. Ms., parchment, measuring 24.2 x 17 cm., from the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta, Cividale del Friuli. Original foliation I-LXXII (three folios given the same number). Binding: modern covers of brown leather over boards. Consists of a processionary from the 14th century; the 2 polyphonic motets are later insertions, deriving, respectively, from the late 14th or early 15th century, and from the late 15th or early 16th century. Each page is ruled with 8 red four-line systems with black and red quadratic notation (f. 72v with white mensural notation). The ms. is closely related to I:CFm, Codex CI. 3286.869.16.6 (microfilm).
