Welcome! My intention here is to provide a brief, curated set of resources specifically for students in Professor Engell's fall 2017 seminar on Romantic Literature and Politics.
This guide is merely a set of links and reference-points. It is intended as a supplement to the all-purpose guide to Literary Research at Harvard, which outlines databases, resources, and research methods useful to all scholars of literature.
Any online guide is merely a preface to or supplement for conversations with a librarian: please be in touch to let me know what you're exploring so that I can help you navigate the overwhelming and complex resources that the library puts at your disposal and troubleshoot issues specific to your topic. You are most emphatically not bothering me, and no inquiry is too vague, too broad, too detailed, or too basic.
