In Ancestry you can open the Card Catalog (hit Search in the upper black band). In the left hand column under Filter by Location, you can select your country, then the collection of interest.
Family Search also links to sites for international genealogical research, though heavily skewed towards Europe.

In HOLLIS Library Catalog, you can search your country plus Subject: Genealogy [and Handbooks if you get too much with just Genealogy]. Limit to English if desired. Example.
