K-12 Toolkit for Teachers: Open Educational Resources, Open and Free Resources/Tools

In pursuit of making education accessible, Siyavula has produced book titles spanning Mathematics and Science subjects from Grades 4-12. These are high-quality, curriculum-aligned Open Educational Resources.

PhET provides fun, free, interactive, research-based science and mathematics simulations. We extensively test and evaluate each simulation to ensure educational effectiveness. These tests include student interviews and observation of simulation use in classrooms. The simulations are written in HTML5 (with some legacy simulations in Java or Flash), and can be run online or downloaded to your computer. All simulations are open source.

A comprehensive suite of math curricula, designed to encourage engaging mathematical discussion, supported by tasks, lesson plans, professional learning, and community. IM K–5 Math™ v.I, IM 6–8 Math™ v. III, and IM 9–12 Math™ v. I certified by Illustrative Mathematics are available as open educational resources (OER) and free to access by anyone.
