Step 7: Supplemetal Files (Optional)

  • Most artifacts or other important content for your work will already be included within your Capstone's appendices.
  • If you have additional files you want to upload, such as datasets, video recordings, etc., you can do so here.

Step 8: Notes (Optional)

  • Any important communication with the program administrators (Matt Rose, Margarita Ruiz) should also be sent by email directly to them.

Step 9: Copyright Registration (Optional)

  • You automatically own copyright over your Capstone.  The copyright statement/page you've already included in your Capstone reflects that you have full copyright over your material already.
  • Your Capstone in DASH also already establishes a public record of your copyright in the work.
  • Formally registering your copyright with the U. S. Copyright Office is:
    • Completely optional
    • An additional opportunity to protect your existing legal copyright that would enable you to bring a copyright infringement suit in a court of law

Step 10: Order Print Copies (Optional)

  • Ordering print copies for your personal use is completely optional and is not expected of you by HGSE.
