ILL is the system for Harvard to utilize other libraries to get just about anything brought to Harvard for you. For more specific information ILL, check out their page on the Harvard website.
If you have questions about any of the following, you can email ILL here.
To access the ILL system, click here. If you don't have an ILL account, you'll need to make one using your Harvard credentials. After you've done that, you should be taken to the ILL home page, which will have a lot of important information to know, such as the delivery times and how many materials you can take out.
If you click the "New Requests" drop-down menu on the top, three options will come up- these are the three different types of requests you can do.
"Article PDF" and "Book Chapter PDF" will allow you to access digital copies of articles or of book chapters. "Request Physical Item" will actually get a physical material delivered to Harvard for you to pick up, but the process will be a little more time consuming.
