NEH America’s Historical and Cultural Organizations: Implementation Grants deadline is January 11, 2012.

NEH announces $21 million in awards and offers for 215 humanities projects (NEH Office of Communications Press Release dated December 1, 2011)

Postdoctoral Fellow in the History and Future of the Book (2011-12, renewable), with expertise in Textual Studies and Digital Humanities, Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto.

The MARGOT Annotation Tool project (imageMAT), funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation – Scholarly Communications and Technology Program (2011-2012), invites applications to its 2011 competition for a postdoctoral fellowship. The start date is September 1, 2011. Applications deadline: 1 June, 2011.

The National Endowment for the Humanities Updates and Changes to grants have been posted. The NEH will offer one start-up grant in the future (rather than two) and the deadline for the NEH Digital Humanities Start-Up Grant (SUG) program will be September 27, 2011. NEH will soon announce more information about Advanced Projects in the Digital Humanities, a new grant program.

Editing Modernism in Canada is offering its annual competition for a postdoctoral fellowship (deadline April 15th). Online form.

Balisage 2011, "the premier international conference on markup languages, technologies, theories, and practice," will be held in Montréal, August 2-5, 2011. The deadline for student support awards is April 8th.
