Mobile Micromedex
The gold standard in drug information -app is available through Countway. WEb access available. Device specific Drug Information apps available for iPhone and Android. Concise information on 4,500+ search terms, covering generic names, common trade names, dosages, indications, contraindications, adverse effects, and more.

To install the app:
1. Login to your online subscription to Micromedex (via MicromedexSolutions.com)
2. Click on the Download Mobile Apps link under Resources. A page will load with passwords for each of the mobile apps.
3. Write down your password; you'll need this later (the password is case sensitive).
4. If you haven't already, visit the appropriate app store for your device and download the apps you desire.
5. Launch the app on your mobile device, enter your password, and you're on your way!
Epocrates
This drug and disease reference provides reliable clinical information at the point of care. Features include integrated disease database with conditions, plus over-the-counter medications and hundreds of diagnostic and laboratory tests. Drug database is free. Other content requires Epocrates Plus subscription.
Drug Information Portal
Mobile optimized website with drug information gathered from the National Library of Medicine databases. Covers over 32,000 drugs and provides descriptions, drug names, pharmaceutical categories, and structural diagrams. Each record also features information links to nineteen other resources including PubMed, LactMed, and Drugs@FDA. The mobile version of a resource is used when available.

Smart Phones accessing the main Drug Portal site will be taken the mobile site. The Drug Information Portal is a free Web resource from the NLM that provides an informative, user friendly entry-way to current drug information for over 32,000 drugs. Links to sources span the breadth of the NLM, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other government agencies. Current information regarding consumer health, clinical trials, AIDS–related drug information, MeSH pharmacological actions, PubMed biomedical literature, and physical properties and structure is easily retrieved by searching on a drug name. A varied selection of focused topics in medicine and drug–related information is also available from displayed subject headings.

Clinical Pharmacology - Installation Instruction

Call the Countway Reference department 617-432-2134 and request a Clinical Pharmacology serial number. Then use this number and the attached instruction sheet to download the app to your smart phone. Note that serial numbers expire each year so ask for a new one if yours stops working.
