Harvard University's IQSS (Institute for Quantitative Social Science) offers a number of services for Harvard affiliates that relate to quantitative research and software use. Please note that in order to schedule a research consultation, you must be working on research for publication. See their list of services.
- IQSS Harvard DataverseHosted by the IQSS, this data repository has one of the largest collections of social science data in the world. You can search for other researchers' datasets or deposit your own datasets in this repository.

- World Bank, Atlas of Sustainable Development GoalsContains a compilation of World Bank maps, charts, and stories related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
- Atlas of Economic ComplexityCreated by Ricardo Hausmann of Harvard's Center for International Development,a powerful interactive tool that enables users to visualize a country’s total trade, track how these dynamics change over time and explore growth opportunities for more than a hundred countries worldwide.
Harvard Library also offers visualization support through drop in hours and workshops.In addition, the Harvard Center for Geographic Analysis offers free workshops, online training and other resources to support GIS/spatial analysis projects.GIS consultations are also available for Harvard affiliates at the Harvard Map Collection.

- UNCTAD Handbook of StatisticsPublished by a UN agency, this report provides a comprehensive collection of statistical data relevant to the analysis of international trade, investment and development, for individual countries and for economic and trade groupings.
- UNCTADstatHosted by the UN Conference on Trade and Development, the UNCTAD database compiles data collected from national and international sources on trade and development and interrelated areas of finance, technology, investment and sustainable development, Most of the time series cover long periods, with some dating back to 1948, for almost all economies of the world.
- World Bank DataThe World Bank Data site offers access to a wide range of data from around the world. Data sets are both browseable and searchable.
- Global Financial Data (Harvard Login)A comprehensive economic and financial time-series database covering 150 countries and 6,500 different data series. GFD includes data on stock markets, exchange rates, interest rates, commodities and inflation. Users can download data into spreadsheet format or use the graphing features. View the online GFD Encyclopedia for information on the data series including sources, historical changes to data, and frequency.
- CountryData (Harvard Login)Political risk data with over 75 country risk-related variables including political, social, economic, financial, and government stability. CountryData.com also includes domestic and international economic indicators, social indicators, ICRG Risk Ratings, and Coplin-O'Leary Forecasts.

- CMIE States of India (Harvard Login)Provides statistics, official documents of state governments, analysis and forecasts. The statistics are sourced from official documents and from CMIE's own monitoring efforts. Statistics are presented in formatted tabulations, which are updated regularly. The service also provides scanned copies of the original official documents, such as the Statistical Abstracts. Registration is required for access.
