Printing and Computer Resources

Summer School students may use the computers, photocopiers, scanners and printers at the library. Scanning is free in the library, but you'll need Crimson Cash to print or photocopy at a library. Once you have value (money) in your Crimson Cash account, you will also need to link your Crimson Cash number to the Crimson Print system.

To print from a Library computer with Crimson Print:

  1. Log onto the library computer desktop with your Harvard Key email address (or netID) and password. If successful, the computer will display your name.
  2. Bring up your document, and select “Print."
  3. Choose Harvard-Crimson-Print as the destination printer.
  4. Go to any library printer and swipe your Harvard ID in the magnetic strip reader.
  5. Select PRINT on the printer screen.
  6. Be sure to log off the printer when all your jobs have printed.

Use Crimson Print to print from a laptop.

Beyond the Libraries, Harvard Summer School has computer labs at the 53 Church Street Computer Facility that offer a wide variety of computer resources and free printing to registered students.

Wireless access: To register your laptop or other device for wireless access inside the libraries, see Connect to Harvard Wireless in the HUIT IT Help web pages.
