About the Jeanne Chall Reading Lab (JCRL)

HGSE faculty Jen Cheatham & Ebony Bridwell-Mitchell in the Jeanne Chall Reading Lab, 2022.The Jeanne Chall Reading Lab (JCRL) was founded in 1966 for the purposes of training teachers and reading specialists, conducting research in reading, and serving the local community. The collections hold over 5,300 items. The JCRL is directed by HGSE Literacy & Languages Concentration faculty Senior Lecturer on Education Pamela Mason. Location & Hours

HGSE campus, Larsen Hall, G10 (ground level)
Harvard students may visit the Lab to study and/or browse the resources. Students are also able to check out books and materials.
