OPTION ONE

Use the meeScan Kiosk 

1. Touch “START” on the welcome screen
2. Scan the front of your Harvard ID or type in your ID number
3. Scan the book’s barcode (14-digit barcode starting with 32044)
4. The book's due date will be sent to you via email
5. Email robyn_rosenberg@harvard.edu if you have any questions

OPTION TWO

Use your phone to check out books

1. Visit your app store and download “Harvard Library Checkout”
2. Touch “START” on the welcome screen
3. Scan the front of your Harvard ID or type in your ID number
4. Tap the “+” button to check out items
5. Scan the book’s barcode (14-digit barcode starting with 32044)
6. The book's due date will be sent to you via email

The SEC Library follows the Science & Engineering Complex (SEC) building hours, which are typically Monday to Friday, 7a.m. to 7p.m.

SEAS affiliates with key card access to the building are welcome to use the SEC Library after hours and on weekends.
