Welcome
Welcome to this library guide on environmental justice.
As you can see from the tabs, this guide outlines five different approaches to environmental justice: classic documents and pioneers; data and maps; government policy and regulations; scholarly citations, and community storytelling.
It also includes some key terms that may be useful, like "space" and "place," and a brief introduction to the relevant field of geography. Check back in, as we hope to expand this list to include more concepts, including "redlining," "blockbusting," "metropolitan," and others.
Suggestions and feedback on the guide are welcome: contact environment and sustainability librarian George E. Clark.
