Harvard Library licenses these professionally compiled directories which contain information on both public and private sector leaders:
- Leadership Connect (Harvard Login)Provides contact and biographical data for hundreds of thousands of political, business, media, and nonprofit leaders in America (with emails, phone numbers, addresses, and background information).
- LegiStorm (Harvard Login)Timely and comprehensive database of contact and biographical information for congress and congressional staff. This resource also includes social media activity, news, CRS reports, executive orders, and press releases.
Leadership Organizations
- Aspen InstituteThink tank established after World War II to "foster leadership based on enduring values and provide a nonpartisan venue for dealing with critical issues."
- Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP)Provides research and data resources on women's participation in American politics; from the Rutgers University Eagleton Institute of Politics.
- Center for Creative LeadershipA leadership development organization with a global focus, CCL makes some of its research (white papers, research reports, articles, and an informative blog) available for download for anyone willing to provide their contact information.
- Center for Ethical LeadershipA leadership training and education think tank based in Seattle, Wash., CEL aims to "cultivate leadership and build capacity for change, helping communities tap collective wisdom in service of the common good." It offers free downloads of many of its publications.
