- Artstor on JSTORArtstor - available through JSTOR - is a growing nonprofit digital library of over 2 million rights-cleared images representing the arts, architecture, humanities, and social sciences. The digital images are discoverable alongside journals, books, and other primary sources in JSTOR, which features an accessible suite of software tools for teaching and research. For Harvard users, JSTOR also provides access to many images from the Fine Arts Library’s Digital Images and Slides Collection in the “Harvard University Study Collection of Digital Images.”

- Bridgeman Art LibraryBridgeman Art Library offers keyword searching and display of its collection of over 350,000 art images from more than 8,000 major international museums, galleries, auction houses, and other collections. Publication and projection quality images are available from Bridgeman Art Library for a fee.
- Google Arts & CultureGoogle has partnered with hundreds of museums, cultural institutions, and archives to host the world’s cultural treasures online. Some paintings are viewable in ‘gigapixel’ format, allowing you to zoom in at brushstroke level to examine incredible detail. However, images are not available to download.
