Lamont Library is a depository for the publications of the Food and Agriculture Organization. The FAO, a specialized agency of the United Nations, is active in land and water development, plant and animal production, forestry, fisheries, economic and social policy, investment, nutrition, food standards, and commodities and trade. It also plays a major role in dealing with food and agricultural emergencies.
This guide lists some of the most useful research tools related to FAO material. Guides to other types of government publications can be found here. Look for "Government Documents."
