Junior League of Boston Records
A voluntary organization of women engaged in service to the community, the Junior League of Boston grew out of the Sewing Circle League (1907), was renamed (1916), and incorporated (1922). With a focus on serving the arts, women, and children, the League has channeled the energies of women into socially useful work and trained them in administration of voluntary projects.
