How do I add digital content or web links to my reading list?

Use the Cite it! bookmarklet to add links to websites, videos and other digital content you find on the internet. Cite It! can also be used to add library licensed content such as a journal article found through a HOLLIS search.

1. To install the Cite It! bookmarklet

  • click on User Menu for drop down menu,
  • click on Cite It! to open bookmarklet, and
  • drag and drop to browser bookmarks bar to install.

2. When you find content to add to your reading list click Cite It! on your bookmark bar.

3. Cite It! populates the citation fields and adds a link to website in the source field.

4. Select List (radial dial button) and choose which reading list and section to add citation.

5. Click Add and close.

6. Item has been added to the list.

NEXT STEPS: When you are finished updating your list you must send it to the library so library staff can process your request. Lastly, you will need to publish the list so it is viewable to students in your course.
