Welcome!

This research guide seeks to give you a first overview of library resources relevant to your research in international relations.

If you are new to the topic, start with surveys provided in literature reviews and specialized handbooks and encyclopedias. Once you have become more familiar with the extant scholarship, move on to in-depth research in research databases, leading IR journals, gray literature from national and international think tanks and research organizations, and, of course, scholarly monographs and anthologies

Depending on your specific area of interest, you may also want to consult the data resources available to you or explore original, primary sources for a historically sound argument.

Last but not least, check out news coverage and podcasts on current international affairs.
