Literary Journalism Search
What is this searching?
The Literary Journalism Search is a custom Google search that searches a specific set of websites, selected because they are magazines, news sites, and other outlets that publish literary criticism.
The title list for this custom Google search is still in beta. Please tell me about your favorite website for literary criticism so that I can add it.
Why would I use this?
This tool is best for recent and contemporary criticism. Use it to supplement the academic sources you find in library databases like HOLLIS, JSTOR, and the MLA International Bibliography.
Pro tip: if you can't find academic sources on a specific author or work, search for relevant topics or themes instead.
Why can't I access the articles?
This search uses public urls: many sites will ask you to log in as a subscriber to read the full article. When this happens, go to HOLLIS and search for the magazine or newspaper title (e.g. The New Yorker) and check for access options through Harvard Library.
