Materials come into our collections in a variety of different ways. While many of our published materials about food were purchased or donated individually, there are some notable collections that came in en masse from particular donors. These are often cataloged with an extra tag in their record that lists the donor as the "former owner" or gives the collection a unique name. If you're interested in these donors, or in the collection and curation process, looking at the list of all the materials together might be useful.
