Databases & E-Resources

A brief list of databases that are useful for women's history and culinary history research.

Get Started

This guide provides an introductory list of databases and e-resources, including e-books, that are useful for researching women's history, gender & sexuality, and culinary/food history topics. You can search across all of the databases available through the HOLLIS Databases page, which includes additional resources such as current and historic newspaper databases, datasets, and more.

Use the menu on the left to explore the lists of resources.

Take Note
The Harvard shield icon Harvard Shield Icon indicates that the database requires a Harvard ID and pin. If you are not a Harvard University affiliate, you are welcome to visit the Schlesinger Library and use these databases on our public computers. If you have any questions, please contact us for more information.
