Browse by Goal: Devise/Create

Help students build a structure, pattern, or solution from diverse elements or put parts together to form a whole, with emphasis on realizing a new meaning or structure. “Devise/Create” falls within the “synthesis” category in Bloom’s Cognitive Domain, is classified as an example of creative thinking within the “application” category of Fink’s Taxonomy of Significant Learning, is alluded to in standard 3 of the Information Literacy Competency Standards (constructing new concepts via synthesis) and can be inferred within standard 4. RefShare provides RefWorks users with a quick and easy way to share their research information, further enhancing collaborative research. Users can share their RefWorks references with both members of their own institution and globally with any researcher having Internet access.
