Help students, through demonstration, carry out a sequence of steps in the research process, or imitate a research technique so that they may adapt it to their own needs through trial and error. “Follow a Model” falls within the “guided response” category in Bloom’s Psychomotor Domain, is classified as a skill within the “application” category of Fink’s Taxonomy of Significant Learning, and is especially relevant in helping students achieve the second standard of Information Literacy Competencies.
