Massachusetts Women's Political CaucusThe Massachusetts Women's Political Caucus was founded in 1971 as a nonpartisan organization dedicated to promoting the participation of women in the political process and increasing the number of women elected and appointed to public office and public policy positions. The organization also has a political action committee which endorses and supports women candidates running for office in Massachusetts. The collection covers the Caucus's activities from 1991 to 1999 and includes reports, by-laws, meeting agendas, budget information, correspondence, and printed material. There are also mailing lists, memos, meeting notes, and agendas specifically pertaining to the MWPC steering and political action committees.
