This research for this guide was completed by Svetlana Rukhelman (Ph.D. in Comparative Literature, Harvard University). She is currently a Research Associate in Harvard’s Department of Comparative Literature and a library assistant at the Davis Center Research Collection (Fung Library). Svetlana conducts research in the fields of Russian and American cinema and literature, focusing on deception narratives, irony, satire, and dark humor.
