- ProQuest One Business (Harvard login) More than 2400 journals and magazines in business, including news, e-books, videos and reports from J.P. Morgan, Hoovers, BMI Research, EIU, Plunkett Research and others.
- Business Source Complete (Harvard Login) Contains articles from academic journals in business, finance, management, and related disciplines, as well as trade publications and industry reports. Note: BSC is also the preferred method of online access to the Harvard Business Review.
- EconLit (Harvard login) Indexes articles in over 450 economics journals as well as books, book reviews, chapters in books, dissertations and working papers from 1969 to the present.
- ProQuest Social Sciences Premium Collection (Harvard Login) Large database of interdisciplinary articles spanning social science fields including criminal justice.

- Emerging Markets Information System (EMIS) (Harvard login) Current country and company information from more than 500 sources for emerging markets in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East. Arranged by country, this resource includes country profiles; macroeconomic statistics, forecasts, and analysis; reports on financial markets, companies, and industries; exchange rates; analyst reports; and business news.
- FactSet (Harvard login) Platform used to analyze financial data from global equity and fixed income markets.
- IMD World Competitiveness Online (Harvard login) "IMD World Competitiveness Online is a unique and comprehensive database on the competitiveness of nations. It includes time series from the IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook, the leading annual report published by IMD since 1989, from the IMD World Talent Ranking and from the IMD World Digital Competitiveness Ranking."
- MSCI ESG Research (Harvard login) Provides research, ratings and analysis of corporate management of environmental and social risk factors.
- Global Financial Data (Harvard login) A comprehensive economic and financial time-series database covering 150 countries and 6,500 different data series. GFD includes data on stock markets from 1690, exchange rates from 1590, interest rates from 1700, commodities from 1500, and inflation from 1264. If you don't want to create an account, you can log in anonymously for more limited data access.
- Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) (Harvard login) Country profiles and data.
- Capital IQ (Harvard login) Data on public and private companies, investment firms, capital transactions, and people. Provides sophisticated retrieval and personalization tools to create numerous reports.

Mapping Tools (US Data)
These three tools contain thousands of U.S. data points and have built-in mapping tools:
- PolicyMap (Harvard login)Web-based GIS that captures data through custom demographic maps, tables, reports and an analysis tool called Analytics. You can incorporate your own data and use thousands of indicators already available including demographics, home sale statistics, health data, mortgage trends, school performance scores and labor data like unemployment, crime statistics and city crime rates.
- SimplyAnalytics (Harvard login)Mapping tool for the United States that enables the creation of maps and tables that incorporate data such as population, age, race, income, employment, and education. In addition, Harvard subscribes to premium content including Experian Simmons Local for market research data and D&B for business demographics.
- Social Explorer (Harvard login)Presents historical census data for the United States through the use of interactive maps and reports. Currently provides access to data back to1940 at census tract, county, state and national level.
Baker Library Research Guides & Resources
- BloombergCurrent and historical financial information on individual equities, stock market indices, fixed-income securities, currencies, commodities, and futures for both international and domestic markets. Baker Library has a Bloomberg terminal for use by Harvard affiliates. You must go to the library in person and there may be time restrictions for access due to high demand.
- Refinitive Workspace (Baker Library only)Features market quotes, earnings estimates, financial fundamentals, press releases, transaction data, corporate filings, ownership profiles and research from Thomson Financial.
