The Schlesinger Library building is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Library will be closed for the following upcoming holidays during the fall semester:

Indigenous Peoples’ Day: Monday, October 13

Veterans Day: Tuesday, November 11

Thanksgiving: Thursday, November 27

Friday after Thanksgiving: Friday, November 28

Winter Recess begins on Wednesday, December 24th

The Schlesinger Library Reading Room is open Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 4:45pm, with the building closing to researchers at 5:00pm. Please review current access policies. Please note that if it is your first visit to the Library, you will be required to show a photo ID at the reception desk on the first floor.

While masks are not required in the Reading Room, we have a supply of masks available in the Reading Room for anyone interested. For assistance, please ask at the desk.
