The Schlesinger Library is closed for the Winter Break after Friday, December 17. Harvard University is transitioning all work and instruction to a remote format through January 21st. The Reading Room will remain closed to all researchers during this time, but Research Services staff will provide virtual assistance starting January 03, 2022.
We welcome you to continue to submit your questions between now and January 03, but please know that staff are not monitoring or responding to the Ask a Schlesinger Librarian queue during the break. All questions are answered in the order received. Please understand that it is taking longer than usual for us to reply to inquiries due to the volume of requests and staff availability to reply.
The appointment request form is temporarily offline while the Reading Room remains closed to researchers.
