Welcome to the Eda Kuhn Loeb Music Library at Harvard University! This guide highlights a few of the services we offer for Music concentrators or thesis writers with music-related topics:

We provide research assistance: help finding sources or doing a literature search, in-depth consultations, and tutorials on using online resources.

  • Quick look-up and basic HOLLIS+ searching: ask at the circulation desk
  • In-depth consultations: ask reference librarians Liza Vick or Kerry Masteller. Our desks are in the Aldrich Reading Room - drop in or make an appointment, email, or call (617-495-2794)
  • Group or individual library tours: ask Liza, Kerry, or the supervisor on duty at circulation desk
  • Tutorials on E-Research@Harvard (finding electronic resources at Harvard Libraries, music and interdisciplinary): ask Liza, Kerry, or at the circulation desk
  • Use our guide Online Resources for Music Scholars (or HOLLIS+) to find article databases, digital audio, and other reference sources

Please take a look around and stop by to visit us in the Library: we're here to help!
