Where can I search the full text of Latin and Greek works online?
For Greek works, the Thesaurus Linguae Graecae (available on selected library and department workstations) contains digitized versions of most literary texts written in Greek from Homer (8 BC) to the fall of Byzantium in AD 1453. For Greek works in English translation, consult the Perseus Digital Library's Greek and Roman Materials. Additional full text sources can be found in the Classics: Full Text Collections section of Inter Libros.
For electronic versions of Latin works, the Library of Latin Texts contains works from the beginning of Latin literature (Livius Andronicus, 240 BC) through to the texts of the Second Vatican Council (1962-1965). The Patrologia Latina includes the works of the Church Fathers from Tertullian in 200 AD to the death of Pope Innocent III in 1216. Additional Latin texts can be found in the Bibliotheca Latina IntraText. For Latin texts in translation, consult the Perseus Digital Library's Greek and Roman Materials.
